The Walking Dead - New Zombie Monster Photoshoot

Hello! I am excited to share with you my latest self-portrait stock photograph package, where I’ve taken on the role of something truly terrifying—a zombie monster!

ZOMBIE MONSTER- HALLOWEEN STOCK MODEL REFERENCE PACK

For this project, I decided to step away from the classic Halloween packs you may be familiar with (like witches and vampires) and challenge myself with a character that was far more feral, twisted, and raw.

To bring this undead creature to life, I experimented with body paint, fake blood, and a torn-up costume.  It was an incredible experience to embody a character that had no sense of vanity or humanity left—a pure monster driven by instinct.

This photoshoot session was about letting go of elegance and beauty, traits often central to my other characters. allowing the character to take over, and getting into the mindset of something completely unrestrained, feral, untamed, deeply unsettling and honestly, it was thrilling to step into that mindset.

For years I’ve had recurring zombie dreams, walking through dark swamps with moist boney arms reaching out to grab my legs from beneath the dank water, or barricading in abandoned buildings with no way out. Generally I wake up just as the horde overwhelms me and the attack becomes inevitable.

In a way, this project allowed me to bring my nightmares into the light, capturing that eerie, unsettling feeling that always lingers after those dreams. It was cathartic in a strange way, like confronting the monsters that have haunted my sleep. I hope artists will find inspiration in these images, just as I found a creative spark in exploring this darker side of my imagination.

If you’re an artist looking for reference material that’s different, intense, and full of creepy, detailed textures, this pack is for you. I hope you enjoy creating with these zombie monster references as much as I did bringing this vision to life!

Stay spooky,   Jessica
