With Halloween just around the corner, I can't help but feel a surge of excitement for all things dark and mysterious.
While Halloween isn’t widely celebrated here in Australia—we don't decorate our homes or go trick-or-treating—I’ve always embraced its eerie charm through my art. Growing up, I was mesmerized by movies like Hocus Pocus and Casper, completely enchanted by the magic, costumes, and haunting characters.
Over the years, I have developed a collection of stock portrait packs that are ideal for adding an extra dose of mystery, horror, and gothic romance to your artistic projects. For those of you who love Halloween or need some dark inspiration for your artistic projects, this collection has you covered!
Mysterious and magical, these witch-themed portraits capture the essence of dark enchantresses. With flowing robes, ominous poses, and shadowy backdrops, and just a touch of campy pinup inspired posing, these portraits are perfect for adding a dash of witchy magic to your artwork.

Ethereal and otherworldly, the ghost bride collection exudes a haunting beauty. There’s a sense of tragic romance that comes with the flowing white gowns, delicate veils, and the soft, ethereal lighting. When I was putting these together, I wanted to evoke the feeling of a lingering spirit, caught between worlds, full of sorrow and grace. It’s the kind of imagery that tells a story on its own, perfect for adding a touch of gothic romance to your work.
Gothic Queens
For those who prefer a regal touch of darkness, the gothic queen portraits are full of majesty and menace. This collection was all about capturing that sense of dark regality, with ornate crowns, lavish gowns, and commanding poses. These characters feel like they belong in a shadowy realm, ruling over a kingdom hidden from the light. I wanted these portraits to convey strength and elegance, perfect for anyone wanting to bring a bit of majestic darkness to their creations.

There is something I would like to say about the Gothic Portraits here specifically. Let me just say that I have seen quite a lot of goths and gothic outfits. With that said, I find your choices of clothing, makeup and hairstyle in those particular reference packs there altogether fairly unique. Mostly it all doesn’t make you look exactly as a goth girl imo; it is something rather fascinating – I think you have managed to channel the elements of goth and gothic subculture while preserving your own voice, your authenticity there, who you are, not blending in and not pretending to be someone you’re not. I think the results there are quite immaculate. The way you have done it – there is a lot of creative artistic potential in that. I can see you’re selling those pics as reference packs, but honestly, there is a lot of artistic photography value in them, or that particular goth approach anyhow. There is something about the intuitive part of how you channel things as an artist – it can be seen not only in those goth portraits, but also the Jester session. As someone who’s seen a lot of horror art, movies and series, I can tell you, your Jester is quite artistic, but not in a horror way; and that is exactly the part that makes your efforts fairly unique. That mojo there of trying to be someone or something while staying yourself at the same time – that is a truly captivating part for me there.
